I was startled to find a small but persistent leak from the bottom of my basement oil tank as I was getting ready to paint it. The tank was old and the bottom, unbeknownst to me, had started to deteriorate and started to leak when I touched it. Called Skylands Energy, spoke to George, and Larry was there very quickly to install an awesome magnetic plug to stop the trickle, which it did completely. Shortly after that George came to look the job over, recommended a dual wall tank and gave me an estimate which I approved. They installed the tank the next day,. I watched intermittently and was impressed with the care they took to drain the old tank into holding drums, then install the new tank and replace the oil in it. A nice, clean job in short time under emergency conditions. Great response time and caring service at a fair price. Who could ask for more?

Turned on the furnace this morning and nothing. Called Skyland's Energy Service and an actual human answered the phone. Surprise! It's late October here in Northern NJ. In fact, they are calling for snow flurries tomorrow morning. They were out within 3 hours of me calling them. 2 hours later and it's roasty toasty in the house for when my kids get home from school. Can't say enough about the customer service and the knowledge of Joe, the technician who did the work.
