Walter Ciancia, who provided the annual servicing of my oil burner, was prompt, personable, and knowledgeable. I have worked with this oil company for many years and the servicemen are invariably helpful and answer my questions. Office staff are also helpful when I call. I can’t rate the price yet, as I haven’t seen the bill. It generally seems reasonable.

Ryan arrived at our home this morning and introduced himself at our front door. Even though it was raining he made sure there was no footprint trail. We showed him where the furnace was located and he got right to work. When finished he asked if we had any questions and then provided a written statement outlining the tasks performed. He did what needed to be done and did not interrupt our activities plus he was nice to our dog. The area where he worked was left clean with no parts (old or new) left behind. Ryan did a terrific job and we would welcome him back for next year’s tuneup. Thanks, Ryan.

Just showed the serviceman (Fred) the furnace and then left him alone. The only surprise was that unlike prior servicemen, Fred did not bleed the radiators or baseboards, stating that that was best done when the system was routinely running. That makes sense for the baseboards but am not certain about the hot water radiators on my first floor. I will have to call for a follow up service call in the Fall for that to be done.
